Today at school we (meaning me and my friends) were playing a game, and Janna Lees saw a brown bat. We asked the teacher if it was real and it was. Then we got Mr. Boer (since he is ever taking pictures) and told him, he didn't think it was a real bat but it was. He took some pictures and then everyone came crowding around just because of a bat.

Although I have nothing to write about I decided it was time for me to update on my blog. I haven't posted in a while and I am afraid my blog may be forgotten. I guess it's is just because I am just starting and I am a little obbessed.

Let me tell you more about day-flying broad bordered bee hawks. Like Jono or Janice said it is a moth. It is a moth but is much prettier than most. The day-flying broad-bordered bee hawk is found in southern England. When resting the moth looks like a bee but as you all know it is most certainly not. I could only find two pictures of a day-flying broad-bordered bee hawk in my next entry will be the other picture I found. It is not as close up the other one but still half decent. I think. I hope you do too.

I haven't been able to write on my blog much because I went to the Art Gallery of Hamilton one day and then stayed at my Oma's house for three days. We took the go train and bus home. That was my first time riding in a go train. It wasn't very exciting. My Oma is staying in my room until Monday, March the 20th. I am going to have fun! I have so much to write but I don't really feel like typing. bye!

Today we went to the Art Gallery of Hamilton (AGH) and saw many beautiful drawings, paintings, and sculptures. There was this one room where there was this video that made you dizzy and canvases with random white lines on it, it wasn't even modern art!
There was also (my favourite piece of art) a truck with toys all in the front and it had a whole city. It was very inspriring you could look at it for hours and still not see all the things the artist put in. I didn't put in a very good desciption of the art gallery but I already have to go. I have already been on the computer an hour.bye

Well it looks like I've done it! I've made a blog and I hope you'll enjoy it. Mine will definatly not be as well written as John's or as interesting as Karen and Clint's but, it'll be good I think. Let me introduce myself, I am a member of the den Boer family with a dutch backround (of course). I am the youngest in the family (the sixth child). I have four older sisters and one older brother my brother, John, is married to a very wonderful girl named Larrianne (she is from Burudi). My oldest sister and oldest sibling, Karen, is married to someone, Clint, that if you see them together you know that they are together, all the same with Larrianne and John of course. I also have a sister, Linda, and a sister, Suzanne, and also a sister Rachel the arguements I get into are mostly with her. She is fifteen. My sister Karen is going to have baby that would make me an aunt at the age of 9! I am so happy, most people are, my sister has been married almost six years now. God has answered our prayers!
Let me tell you about me. I was born October 4th 1996. I like soccer and running. I'd like to write more but it is almost supper. Until next time!
yours, Christina
P.S. I am usually not this cheesy in my closings but for a special occaision I decided it was worth it.
